As we have embraced the duty of being the light in our vicinities and having realized what our church leaders lack in different part of the rural communities, teaching English classes as the basic foundation to enable the leaders learn to read, write and speak English has been embedded in our curriculum to enable every leader attending the leadership development programme understand and comprehend the materials as well as helps them learn the biblical theology and missional course with ease. In our Bishop Daniel Deer Center for leadership Development, we have three English teachers who have offered themselves to teach the leaders in this foundational course despite challenges of economic hardship and difficulties of life. We pray that, God touches the hearts of his people across the globe to help us support these dedicated teachers to provide the needed teaching and enable the programme succeed.

In helping bring communities together and promote peaceful coexistence among the communities, social activities happen to take a key role in creating joy and happiness as well as bringing together everyone to enjoy and exhibit the cultural talents that have existed for ages..

A very little support to the rural church/congregation is worth the gift of any kind as many options are not always available. Key challenges including lack of enough resources to renovate or upgrade the church building into iron sheet roofing, renovation of already partially constructed building, provision of support to the churchyard garden that supports the operational activities within the church including provision with seeds, tools and basic training of youth, women and church councils in running the basic management of finances and church gardens to stabilize the needs of the congregation and their church.

At CETOCIL, we work closely with rural churches to understand their major needs, help them plan well and innovate through the little they have while coming in with any little support we got to boost their activities. It could be use to renovate/construct a church building/roofing, maybe a donation of church worship instruments or any pews/seats for the congregation will add a greater value.

Water is life and the need for it is not just high but enormous in the world today, especially in the African continent where safe drinking water is very scarce given the underdevelopment of the countries couple with other contributing factors such as conflict and destruction. Putting up a point of safe water for rural marginalize people mean the whole world to them and highly regarded as God intervention in their life.

Education is key and has become now one of the basic needs in every child's life. Both girls and boys have rights to education, but at most, the challenges faced by the rural families let these future leaders drop off and would not contribute to the next generation development and leadership. Most of the affected are the orphans and abandoned children who have no one to care for them. Ceto-Cil works with churches to ensure these children and other get access to education, to start their future.

Despite rapid economic development today in the world, poverty still exist even in the developed world, some families do not get food for times, others go for days. Worse of all, the children and poor families in the developing nations are battling it hard, days without food are many. Providing food and nutritional support contribute much to restoring hope and finding their lives once again. It is only through giving wholeheartedly to show love and care that these affected families would embrace themselves alive.
