Provide Water to the Rural Areas

The main need among the rural communities and even at the sub-urban areas is water. Water is life and its has proven had for most of the communities to access safe and clean drinking water. This is mainly attributed to lack of services, prioritization issues, and lack of funds. CETOCIL believes that, this is an area that requires attention and direct support not through NGOS or government only but by drilling directly at the communities and working with church leaders who are in the rural areas that lacks water. CETOCIL being a faith-based non-profit organization working to transform the societies uses the resources receive as they are for all the emergency assistance. Help us provide clean drinking water today in a rural village, put a smile on the faces of the elderly women, children and the pregnant and lactating mothers who have to walk miles to draw unclean water from the rivers due to lack of boreholes. To drill a borehole in a place like South Sudan, the deep hard-to-reach areas would cost approximately 25,000 USD including all the necessary transportation and labor whereas in rural areas nearby Juba, this could cost lest than 20,000 USD.

Nutritious food to the needy

Most rural areas have high malnourish rates among the women and children that require nutritious food assistance. It is part of the team working with local pastors and students on field missions to identify these needs and report them to suitable bodies or partners. Once the assistance is availed, the organization will receive or procure (depending on the assistance-monetary or in-kind) and distribute to the needy identified to support such group as an immediate response. Help us today rescue the situation of these children and mothers in the hard-to-reach locations where most of the partners and organizations fail to reach due to accessibility issues. Our team works with rural churches in these areas to reach many people and provide the needed assistance alongside missional activities.

Rural Schools Support

At emergency levels, the need for schools in places like displaced camps would arise and always requires urgent attention. In such a situation, any need for the setup of the emergency school or support would be treated under the RCF provided that, the school will also benefit the rural community and shall be sustainable for future use. The major needs of rural schools are infrastructure, furniture, and educational materials. Once the roof and furniture are provided, the government and other NGOs working in the education system would provide educational materials, especially to the government schools. Community and Church schools continue to suffer which is why CETOCIL prioritize them for support.
